A great stay and a lovely host The host was a lovely lady who treats the guest amazingly

Five star view. Would be great apartment if it were cleaned and maintained.

The opel express was very clean and the breakfast very good with plenty of choice the room had excellent amenities provided ,with a kettle in room and tea coffee and water topped up daily, only saw staff at breakfast and checkout, it was self check in with key to room left in a safe, the room did have a ceiling fan which was very noisy and could only use with the light on, I was there during a very hot period so not much comfort throughout the night, the view from the room was not good looking out to the side of another building it didn’t feel very private as windows looking straight in, maybe nets could give it some privacy, the location was fantastic on the promenade with a bus stop across the road.

The staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean but we were only given one towel. The mattress was sagging making it difficult to sleep without rolling. There was a smoke alarm somewhere that was continually beeping with a low battery warning making it difficult to sleep. The room was cleaned but toilet paper and coffee/tea were not replaced. Breakfast was good but could have done with extended service. 8-9:30 didn’t give much opportunity of you wanted a lie in. The bar was well stocked although I did feel it was overpriced (£3.50 for a small bottle of water). Staff were lovely, polite and knowledgeable on things to do. However, the hotel and rooms could do with a bit of TLC to improve them and maybe more than one towel for a room with 2 people sharing.

Can't fault the hotel at all, in prime location, staff fantastic, breakfast amazing, booked 3 dbl rooms, requested through Expedia if I could have a quiet room, as undergoing treatment and was going to recuperate on this beautiful island, got back to me, to late to cancel, and book elsewhere, basically saying couldn't contact said hotel?? Strange one that, was put in three adjacent rooms, directly at the side of wether spoons, the noise on all nights untill 3 in the morning was absolutely horrendous, there's a night club above wether spoons did complain first night, felt physically ill no sleep the whole break, to put pensioners, and young children in these rooms, awful, noone got back to me from reception following day, was brushed under the carpet, I explained what treatment I was undergoing it was obvious just looking at me, Expedia also was informed about this, along with hotel staff, but to no avail, we stayed in rooms 306/307/308 careful anyone booking with this hotel, the noise horrendous Thurs Fri sat and sun, untill three in the morning and later, never again
